Lighting and Audio Maintenance Program (LAMP) Agreement

Terms of the LAMP Contract

 

1. Purpose of the Maintenance Program


Your outdoor lighting system was designed to elevate your evenings and enhance the beauty, safety,

and value of your property. Like any premium system, it requires periodic professional care to remain

in optimal condition. The Viewpoint Lighting "LAMP" extends the life of your lighting and audio

components, improves performance, prevents avoidable damage, and reduces long-term repair costs through preventative service.


2. Scope of Services – What Happens During a Maintenance Visit


- Lamps: Replacement of burned-out or failed lamps and upgrade to LED where applicable.

- Fixtures: Re-aiming and repositioning; cleaning lenses and wiping exterior housings.

- Plants & Trees: Trimming/pruning to maintain lighting performance; inspection and adjustment of tree-mounted fixtures.

- Wire/Splices: Burial of exposed wires and minor troubleshooting.

- Transformers: Timer verification, backup battery replacement, cleaning, and tightening connections.

- Other tasks are detailed in the Post-Visit report, available upon request.


3. Program Options & Pricing


Semi-Annual Plan: $300/year (two scheduled visits). Additional Labor: 20% off standard labor rates posted at www.Viewpoint.Lighting/maintenance  Unscheduled Trip (first 1⁄2 hour): $87.50


Annual Plan: $200/year (one scheduled visit). Additional Labor: 20% off standard labor rates Unscheduled Trip (first 1⁄2 hour): $87.50.  *Minimum option for extending installation warranty from 2 years to 10.


Additional frequency plan options are available and priced on a case-by case basis (Trimester,

Quarterly, Monthly, etc.

Properties outside our standard 25mi service area may incur additional charges that will be discussed/disclosed before this agreement takes effect.


4. What Is Included in Pricing


Scheduled visit(s) include the trip charge and first man-hour of labor, warranty-covered lamp

replacements and warranty repairs. All labor and parts beyond this will be billed at agreement rates.


5. Exclusions


Non-scheduled visits: Replacement fixtures, non-warranty lamps, major rewiring, system redesign, tree work beyond lighting needs, or damage caused by third parties, rodents, weather, or acts of God are billed separately.  Work beyond the normal "maintenance" scope unable to be finished as part of the initial visit will be billed at normal shop rates unless deferred to the next scheduled visit.


6. Scheduling


Clients may request preferred maintenance months. Automated reminders will be sent via

email 7 days and text 2 days before scheduled visits. Unless otherwise arranged, the actual

time of the visit will depend on the other scheduled client visits, weather, tech availability, etc.

on the day of the visit, so providing a specific time or window of time is difficult to predict.

Please notify us before the visit to set a preferred day/time if needed. Rescheduling individual

visits may be done for up to 30 days after the originally scheduled visit before incurring a 10%

scheduling charge. Unscheduled service outside plan visits (as needed) are billed per

program rates.


7. Term & Renewal


This Agreement is for a 12-month term beginning on the effective date and automatically

renews annually unless cancelled prior to the renewal month visit. Note: Cancellation voids

all installation warranties beyond the initial 2 years.


8. Payment Terms


Payment is due upon invoicing after the first scheduled visit. Unpaid balances may suspend

maintenance benefits.


9. Warranty Considerations


Active participation supports warranty protections by allowing early identification and

correction of issues.


10. Access to Property


Client agrees to provide reasonable access to all lighting equipment and secure pets as

needed during service visits. Lack of access to components in garages, locked sheds, etc.

may incur a rescheduling fee of $50.


11. Cancellation


Client may cancel at any time before their scheduled visit. No refunds are provided for

completed visits. If canceled mid-term, previously applied discounts may be adjusted.


12. Acceptance of Agreement


By signing below, Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this LAMP Agreement

with Viewpoint Lighting.
